No big deal, it's just that many of them are made from cheap software or programs you download off the internet, so the files themselves aren't properly optimized for web use. Making them much, much larger in file size than they need to be. A properly optimized web image can be up to 75% smaller with little noticeable loss in quality.
If everyone used Photoshop's "save for web" feature, this wouldn't even be a problem; but maybe I'm just a Photoshop-snob.

I actually remember you saying something about GIFs in the past, and how we shouldn't use so many in one post, or requote the same one over and over. I think it was on the old forum that you said it, but I just wasn't even thinking when I posted all those. |

Glad my name isnt Robert Green right now
I thought when all the flags dissapeared for one moment maybe we lost...but I think going to a draw was worse...and in the newspapers today there are such headlines as "We Was Rob-ed" and "God Save Our Green" Final Score: England 1 - 1 USA |

Onwards and upwards - not a bad start for the opener against a good team and we should have won.
We made a few chances and only coceded because of a horrid mistake. We should emerge comfortably from the group. |

It was a poor mistake and we looked the more likely to win but they created a few chances too, so it was probably a fair result in the end. I don't see us faring too well against the top teams.
