JB, that last gif was great. That was incredible the way AS is actually going backwards to avoid being hit and just sticks out that long arm of his to catch Forrest right on the button. That's the AS I love to see. Action AS!

I learned how to catch a ball when I was real young. You learn real quick after the first few hit you in the face.

No...you dont always....impulses travel down nerves to reach muscles, thats how you move...the speed is practically speed of thought, unless the impulse doesnt go the shortest way to the muscle...if the impulse takes a longer route, then although you know where you need to be in your head, you cant move quick enough....works the same for a lot of things, characteristics include poor hand eye coordination, probably clumsyness...and if your really unfortunate tremours...or the shakes....thankfully with me its bearly noticeable...but it did mean that I never excelled in any sporting activity

this is going to be a great tourney, but England have no chance ... they will draw with the US and slink out of the World Cup eventually .... my favourite play was when C. Ronaldo got Rooney red carded at the Euros i believe ... LOL ...

Wel I am a big fan of american sports but Football stands out above the rest - and i reckon it may just one day improve in popularity out there.

I just hope come Saturday evening I still have bragging rights!

I don't mean to sound unpatriotic, but I hope England wins. Probably 1% of the U.S. population watches it or cares about it. It seems like it is a big deal to the English. I think if the U.S. wins there would be a deafening silence here. Soccer is so boring, if the U.S. exits early, maybe they won't report on the WC here at all.
