No, the server didn't crash. We were forced to switch to a different server on short notice and had to juggle a few things in order to keep the website up and running during the transition.

As Chris F said, it was a good thing because not only did it give everyone on the forums a chance to start over, it actually gave us full control of the website and everything on it. We didn't have that prior to being dropped from our old server.

Let's just say I don't see the biblical basis for all points of Calvinism. I believe some calvinists, especially hyper-calvinists, are reading something that's not there.

Sometimes it's better just to wipe the slate clean and give everyone a chance to start over.
