Default BLOG: Getting Some Work Done

From Matt's blog:

Quote:
Last week was pretty typical: went to the gym and such. The only real news was the work over the weekend. I'm building a barn on my new property and had a lot of help clearing the brush. Big thanks for all the help. Had some high school kids help out, along with Nathan (my webmaster), Mark, my dad, Rich Stewart, Big D, Tommy Compagni, Aaron Schultz, Danny Moore and his boys. Danny is known as Silverback on my forums, he's also a union heavy-equipment operator; so he has done most of the equipment work. He's not used to running this old equipment, but he's done a really good job with what he's had. We're going to keep you up to date on the progress of the building and also Mac, from the forums, is going to be doing the concrete work. Like I said, this is really all that's been going on this week, I hope you enjoy the pictures.

The Bible verse for this week:

Quote:
Fear thou not; for I am with thee, be not dismayed, for I am thy God: I will strengthen, help and uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness. (Isaiah 41:10)

Kinda looks like what is going on here.....

Last week, we brought the trackhoe down to clear a spot on our land where our new house is going to be.....leveled some ground with the dozer....

(Mark, the same trackhoe that about caused a divorce....well, he upgraded it and bought a Cat Dozer)

Have yet to start the burn pile with all the rain we got this weekend.
Contractor is supposed to start laying block at the end of this week.....

Boys always seem to have fun with their toys!!!!
Thanks for sharing the pics Matt, we always enjoy seeing new pics!

Isn't it nice they have adult-size Tonka toys for the big boys.
