I agree with a good chunk of what Chael said there, except 2 things.

1. Sonnen is wrong to say that nobody cares about Silva, and he forgot that it was Renzo Gracie who helped broker the deal that put the UFC in Abu Dhabi. Matt Hughes is still a bigger name than anybody else that was on that card.

2. I think Sonnen plays the morality card a bit too much considering how condescending he comes off at times. You don't have to be a "gang-banger" to talk about respect, and just because Silva busts his hat to the side don't make him ghetto.

I will believe it when I see it.

All too often, promoters in general, and especially Dana, tell the fans what he thinks they want to hear even if he knows it's a blatant lie.

Wasn't it just last year that ANYBODY who worked with EA sports on their MMA game would NEVER fight in the UFC again? Then he still went after Fedor, and Randy is still fighting with the company.

Don't let him fool you, he will do what is best for the company's bottom line or the Fertita's will find somebody else who will. If that meant cutting Silva, then so be it, but I find that scenario HIGHLY unlikely.

I think GSP and Jon Jones both beat Silva.

as do I but I still think it would be an exciting fight.

Bring Lutter back with one stipulation. That he must fight in shape and he can beat Silva. Lutter is the one man I believe that could beat him at 185. at 205 I like Bones vs Silva. At 175 I like Matt Hughes. I don't know why you guys don't think Matt has a shot against him. Would be a very good fight for Hughes. I wouldn't mind seeing Hughes go to 185 and fight him either.

GSP vs Silva would be boring.
