If you could bring back a fight that has been cut but the UFC.... who would it be.. and which current fighter would you cut to replace the one you are bringing back??


Lightweight... Rich Clementi to bring back... and I would cut Melvin Guillard
Welterweight .. Mike Swick to bring back... cut either Serra.. or Trigg...
Middle Weight .. David Loiseau to bring back... cut Jorge Rivera or Bisping
LHW .. Renato Sobral to bring back... cut Stephan Bonnar
HW.. Andrei Arlovski to bring back... cut Roy Nelson...

I thought Swick was gone.. but it doesn't appear so.. The Crow had some great fights.. I would rather see Travis back before David.. good call.

Renato.. I have fought to not like him for several years now.. I keep losing..I don't know why.. but I do.

Tim (fight not to lose) Sylvia??? wow.. cut Kongo?? He just had a good fight with Mir... and another good fight with Paul Buentello.. he also got beat down by Cain.. but I can live with that.

I was thinking the same thing. The guy won TUF 10 (fairly easily too), is a former IFL champ, won his first UFC fight (KO of the night). No way he's cut yet.

I can see the argument for letting George Michael fight in the UFC again, but I just don't understand the "cut Roy Nelson" part. Given his recent performances, he has definitely merited an opportunity to stay with the company and work his way towards a title shot.

I don't think Dana likes Roy's persona, but if Nelson finds a way to keep winning you can bet that Mr. White will make a modern-day Tank Abbott out of him.

Other than.. I like Andrei .. Andrei (I feel) got a raw deal with the UFC.. he walked through "Big Country" when they fought... Andrei has fought some of the biiggest and best.. and lost a few.. where as Roy (the former IFL champ)... has fought a bunch of mid card fighters (at best).. has won.. and is being pushed as the "next big thing"... I just don't see it.

He fights WELL.. against fighters of his caliber...

I totally get the Arlovkski argument for seeing him come back to the UFC. I just don't think Roy should be "cut" at this point considering the performances he has given as of late. To say Roy has fought a bunch of mid-card fighters is a bit of a stretch, especially considering the resumes of some of the other notables in the UFC heavyweight division.

It's funny you use the term "next big thing", because there is actually one UFC heavyweight who is known worldwide by that moniker....
