Hipsters on Food Stamps

I'm sorry we disagree too; the LAST thing I want is more govt. control!

But I am also against further entitlement programs, it has been proven over and over since they have been keeping stats that these programs do not work and tend to keep a large # of the people gaming the system or simply stuck in poverty.

I'm not against food stamps for people who need them; I don't like the fact that our govt. relaxed the requirement to get assistance. In all the college towns, certainly in San Francisco, are co-ops, food banks, and other food-share programs that make SURE no young people are going hungry.

I have 4 college-age nephews, I know this for a fact (one a "starving actor-waiter" in NYC!!).

Hand out milk, bread, and cheese like they used to! The govt wants to control everything else. I am shocked that they don't provide which foods to buy.
