Amy another cold front has come in this weekend, but I imagine it will probably be the last one before the warmer weather moves in for spring and then.....Bluebonnets!!!!!

And Bonnie, have you ever read the story The Legend of the Bluebonnet by Tomi DePola? I read it to my class every year. It's lovely. If you have never heard of it or read it, I encourage you to get the book. It has beautiful, simple illustrations and the meaning of the story brings me to tears whenever I read it.

Joni begins radiation tomorrow. She's been in excruciating pain the last two months and now they know why.

Please keep praying for her. I'll let y'all know when I hear something from my sister about how Joni is fairing through this. I know that all of your prayers are lifting her up.

I wanted to let y'all know that Joni passed away this morning. She's had a really tough time these past several months, most of that spent in and out of the hospital and she was in hospice these last two months. I want to thank everyone who prayed for her healing and her family. I would ask that y'all please say a prayer for her little girl, Elizabeth, and the rest of her family as they try to cope and help Elizabeth deal with the loss of her mom.

Thank you, my friend, for those beautiful words, "....rise in glory". I happened to be on the phone with my sister when I saw your post and I read it to her--she said she was going to share that with Joni's sister, Robin, who is ever faithful.
