UFC Banned from German TV

“The committee deems that television formats characterized by the extend of violence shown to be unacceptable,“ read a statement from the BLM. The BLM also described the programming as a “breach of taboos like punching a downed opponent,” which is illegal under article 111a of the Bavarian constitution. The paragraph deals with the glorification of violence in the media.

Americans - this is none of your business. They can do what they want. Not having the UFC isn't going to make Germany any less Islamic, er, I mean, German.

Considering their actions during the 20th century, maybe keeping Germans away from violence is a good idea. Kind of like keeping an alcoholic away from bars.

Dennis Siver is the only one i can think of....i don't really care what germany decides to show on their tv, it doesn't affect me any
