What should the Zinger be?

Zingers are the catchy ways of marketting things...sometimes its a film motif...sometimes its a way of shortening a long and boring title.

Considering UFC on Versus is probably going to be the start of a brand new set of cards...what do you think it should be called

how about, UFC Fight Night since thats basically what it is. Or just UFC on Versus and dont add a card name. Card Names are for the major events not just random events.

Well...you know they might try and phase UFNs out if Versus takes off properly...I had it written down in my diary as UFN a) and UFN b) but then I couldnt remember which was the REAL UFN and which was Versus

The real name of the event is UFC Live so why not just go with that.

There is no way they are gonna get rid of the UFN's on Spike. Spike was the channel that made UFC big again and there is no way the UFC will turn its back on Spike.

that would be a reasonable Zinger...they will eventually choose one and start using the name repetatively...I just wanted to offer a few ideas

Are Spike and Versus in competition with each other...that could be used to create a rating war...which would favour the UFC regardless since they promote both brands...thats been done very successfully with Professional Wrestling brands in the past

Why not?

CBS/Viacom is the parent company of MTV Networks, which owns Spike TV, and they don't have any qualms with broadcasting the UFC's direct competition, i.e. Strikeforce.

UFC should be on Fox in my personal opinion.
