UFC PPV woes

Bout time someone agreed with me about TUF.

Odd how its Tyburn too....

WWE is having the same issues. Too many PPV and people are getting tired of the same weak match ups and even weaker storylines. People are not paying big bucks for weak cards.

i would like them to have a ppv once every two months and a spike card on the month without a ppv.

I agree with Tyburn on this too, and all his other points.

But the economy has something to do with it as well. I still have my job and no pay cut. There are many not so fortunate. Even at that, I will have to start skipping some; my investments, which provide my "play money" have dropped some.

Also, people are actually becoming more thrifty.

I think the WEC PPV will flop.

Way too saturated. I'm not paying for a weak card, especially one that doesn't have a title match main-event.

Making the Faber-Aldo card a PPV is annoying too. People don't want to pay for something that always used to be free.

Yea, instead of just trying something novel with every new season of TUF

Well, I guess I'm in the minority here but I still enjoy TUF.

TUF in my view can be salvaged! They need less drunken Drama and more real training and fighting. Also make the contestants more like able. For example, I used to enjoy watching Human Weapon,but now can't find it. Make it a little more like that.

Abu Dhabi is part of the UAE so it would be "selling out" to the Arabs and not the Saudis....

Just sayin'.

Besides, they have had world-class MMA competitions there since 1998.

I think you hit the nail on the head there. I like getting to know the fighters better as many of them end up on the UFC. It's also pretty cool seeing them progress and hone their fighting skills.
