Unless Carolina wins the ACC tourney I will not be watching the NCAA tournament this year. My heart couldn't take not seeing my beloved Heels playing in it. Heck we might not even make the NIT this year....

IT seems as though VCU will not be in the NCAA Tournament this year, but thats ok, you can cheer for Old Dominion, the 2010 CAA Champs.

They may not make the NCAA tournament or the NIT but they are more than welcome to come to the "2010 Max Struhar Backyard Classic". The team they will be playing is my next door neighbors daughters team (she is 11). Now I know what you are thinking "Max, a bunch of 11 year old girls against UNC, thats not fair" but I assure you, UNC is better than a lot of people think and if they play well I think they have a chance. I'm gonna go call Roy Williams now and give him the invite.

As much as I should "see the big picture" and "hope a CAA team does well" for the conference's respect level as a whole, I can never bring myself to root for y'all or GMU. The year we beat Duke, I was almost as excited by ODU's embarrassing loss that year as I was by our win.
