Serra/BJ ?

I have to admit, Matt Serra impresses me as a fighter. I was thinking if he dropped to LW he could be a supreme challenge for BJ Penn? He has power in his hands, and is scrappy as all get out and is as good if not better than BJ at JJ.

I'd like to see it but Serra has expressed he has no interest in cutting down to 155.

if they fought again I dont think their 2nd fight would be as competitive as their first

You'd think he'd be interested in a shot at the LW title. He would have had 2 titles and cemented a legacy of sorts.

He could smash BJ for all you know. Serra is stronger than BJ. He's also a very smart fighter. I think he could prove a real challenge.

You are right he could smash BJ, and Hardy could smash GSP but neither is going to happen. how do you know he is stronger than BJ?

i dont think Dana would just offer him a title shot. he would have to move down and win at least 2 fights before he got a title shot.
