I'm no expert, but I have always been fascinated with snakes and spiders. That spider looks a little darker than most Hunstman spiders and it's body seems bit larger. It could be though.

They say those Hunstman spiders can run 100 meters in under 5 seconds.

Australia has a ton of em, no doubt, I would love to visit there one day.

Arizona has quite a few venomous insects and reptiles too. Of the spiders we have these are the most common...

Green Lynx Spider


Funnel Web Spider


Common Brown Spider


Arizona Blond Tarantula


Bird Eating Tarantula


Last, but certainly not least...the Black Widow

Eh, those spiders aren't bad to look at. But that very first one, with all the lil ones....holy fish sticks, holy crap, holy monkey poo, holy poo, holy cow poo.....

If I saw that, I think I crap myself. Then I'd go nuts, and proceed into Miss Rambo mode. Mamma and babies won't be alive for long.

Western Washington literally has nothing poisonous.

Other side of the Cascade Mountains (Eastern Washington) has some,
but this side of the mountains is just too cold and wet, thankfully.
Bears, and Cougars, sure.... but I can handle that.

AZ has a lot of cougars in it's mountainous and desert regions, and even some Bears up north in the higher elevations. About a year ago, a cougar wandered into a bar in a mountain town named Cottonwood and started attacking patrons.

What's also funny is I was reading more about those Hunstman spiders in Australia, and it says that while their bite is actually more painful than it is harmful to humans, the spiders are actually known to cause LOTS of car accidents because they like to get in cars and then they scare the crap out of people....
