No marriage in heaven=No more children?

Matthew 22:30 At the resurrection people will neither marry nor be given in marriage; they will be like the angels in heaven.

So if there's no marriage there will be no more children? Once the children who have died in childhood grow up? It would be an amazing childhood to grow up in heaven, but I can't imagine a place with no children in it, forever. Or maybe He means only until the thousand years in heaven are over and heaven is brought down to become the new earth. Will there be marriage and more children then, or will we always remain like the angels?

Hmm...I think it means no marriage period, ever. I know people get bummed because sex outside of marriage is a sin. Yet, the Bible never says there won't be sex in Heaven. We may not crave it. Being in the presence of God is sufficient.

As for kids, IDK. We will come to understand all things when we get there. What we desire here, may be utterly meaningless there.

Yeah, I realize there's alot of things we just won't know until we get to heaven and can ask Jesus, it's just that the more I read, the more questions I have.

The purpose of marriage to to procreate the earth and raise Godly kids. This is why God hates divorce. In heaven there is no need to procreate so thus no need for marriage.

The whole point of marriage was to show us what our relationship with God should be like. We will be the bride of Christ in heaven.

While this is true this a a spiriual example and the question was in regard to the physical act on earth. Adam and eve were married before the fall so it was not an example of that yet.

You dont have children in heaven!

Heaven is where we have been perfected. We are in the spiritual ressurectional body.

There wont be sex neither, there will be nothing our bodies lack, in the same way there is no night time and no need to ever sleep, we probably wont eat either...there will be no need for that.

To the best of my knowledge, the ressurected Human is above the Host on the scale of Greatness within the created order...and the Angels dont eat, nor do they multiply (unless they are fallen, and even then its not with each other)
