I watched a sport fight video with Sonneon commentating. Once you get past that funny voice he actually did a pretty decent job. To me he came across as more knowledgeable and credible than Joe Rogan at least!

the fact that he's a politician only serves to further cement his douche-baggery. plus his fights usually bore the hell out of me.

I've always liked Sonnen as a fighter, and up until now, he always seemed respectful in interviews...he certainly was towards Marquardt in the lead-up...I still can't believe how much he dominated Nate in that match. By the same token, he does seem a little full of himself (his comments before fighting Maia showed that). I generally don't have a problem with that if they aren't too extreme with the ego & can back it up. He could be an interesting matchup for Silva...he's a big guy who came down from 205 & can obviously wrestle & controlled one of the strongest guys in the division (Nate). If he can execute a good gameplan, Silva will have his hands full.

i don't really hate fighters just because I don't support them, but I do dislike certain fighters because of their behaviour .. sonnen just said some stupid things about anderson ... so, now he gets a chance to get him in the cage .. we shall see what happens ... frank mir is another one who just won't shut up ... you would think that being smashed by lesnar would have shut him up, but he just keeps on chirping ..
