I feel absolutely heartbroken. A good friend of mine back in Texas that I used to work with lost her seemingly healthy 7 year old daughter yesterday without warning. They do not know the cause of death at this time. I don't have more details yet but I literally feel sick over it.

I've had a very bad week. I have received 2 sets of devastating news, one I've posted about and one I am not free to discuss openly. On top of that, work was wicked rough all week. I'm just exhausted. I need a break. I don't think I've gone 2 weeks this summer without having something bad happen. And I mean bad like deaths, surgery, etc. I'm due for some goodness.

I feel GREAT

I feel like this new week has possibility for good things. I got to spend several hours this weekend at church. Saturday was a retreat and Sunday was a beautiful service with a great class both before and afterwards. I am finally over that nasty summer cold. I slept well last night. I gave blood yesterday after church. I bought the bf a great b-day present and made him open it early because I was so excited to give it to him. (Doing things like that makes me feel better no matter how down I am.) Sooooo, I am anticipating good things coming my way for a while.
