i have a stupid insurance class to take on line. I hate the online I can't pay attention more than about 2 minutes then i panick when it is time to get tested on what i read or listened to!

Sslllleeeeeeppyy. My son got mono and passed it on to me. My son always ends up getting the oddest things during the summer. He rarely gets sick at school but give him a few weeks at the Y and it's always something. Last year he go dang swine flu!

Frustrated with my car.

April - Replaced the fuel pump ($400)
June - Replaced the Alternater ($300)
July - Replacing a cracked rim ($ ???)

I love my car, but it's just annoying to be shelling out this much money.

holy cow where are you getting your parts from. that seems really expensive. do you have a diesel? how did you crack your rim? are they aluminium? i'm frustrated w/ your lack of info....don't you know we like cars around here?

I'm guessing that Ben's price is also including the labor to replace those parts.

I just traded mine in for that very reason even though it wasn't the best time to take on a car payment but I'm so relieved now!

Sorry. Yes, prices include parts & labor. I drive a '99 Crown Vic. majority of the price of the fuel pump is labor since it's located inside the fuel tank. The Alternator was expesnive because apparently the Crown Vic uses a high amperage model which is more expensive.

i have no idea how I cracked the rim (yes, it's aluminum), but I was able to find one at a junkyard for only $100.

Plus the $29.95 I just spent yesterday doing on line "comedy" traffic school when I didn't even laugh not once!

The "comedy" part is them laughing at you paying them to take it to reduce your ticket problems.
