if this happens, how can anybody take Tim's career seriously if he doesn't even take his own career seriously

It almost seems as though doesnt really have any good direction to go with his career anymore. I wonder if he'll go back to Dana?

Well, if this fight happens, Tim should take Mercer down immediately and pound him out. If he stands with Mercer, he may very well get KO'd, and that would be a disaster for his career.

This is a prime example of one of the problems in MMA. Why is this fight even being sanctioned?

That being said, I am pulling for Mercer. He's an old dog, and Kimbo only won because he punked out on standing and banging with Ray like he said he was going to. Well, that and Ray being 45 years old.

This is ridiculous. Mercer barely trained to fight Kimbo and only showed up to get paid. Why would this fight be any different? If Tim does this, he's done. Nobody will take him seriously again. He'd be better off fighting some local HW champion than Mercer. At least that would give some MMA fighter a shot at fame and a career boost.
