If Diego can take it into 4 and5..he has a better chance than in 1-3...

BJ in the 2nd due to GnP

Or Diego in the 5th cause BJ is gassed

im pulling for diego but im pretty sure bj is gonna handle him no problem. what some people fail to understand is that the whole "bj will lose if it goes to the later rounds" thing only works if he is NOT fighting at 155.

Yeah BJ looked so tired in round four against KenFlow.

not exactly....

155/145/210.. whatever... BJ is still working with his natural talent, not conditioning... IMO.... BJ is mentally weak and arrogant... and over confident Arrogance isn't always a bad thing.. but when you combine it with the other two.. that spells an "L"

everybody always says "if he plans for 5 he'll win and gas BJ out" i use to say that too

but let's be honest here. everybody said that about sherk and stevenson and florian and BJ took them deep into the fight and didn't gas and dominated them. if he goes deep into the fight with sanchez he will do the same thing. his conditioning is great at 155 now and it's not a problem like it use to be. bj is coming prepared and will be ready for sanchez however long this fight has to last. 1 round or 5, it doesn't matter. sanchez is not submitting him and not knocking him out. and we all know BJ is winning at least 3 rounds so if it goes to decision he's going to win anyways.

BJ by RNC round three. Diego doesn't have any tricks that BJ hasn't seen before. BJ is one of the most well rounded fighters in MMA and unlike some people like GSP his chin is rock solid. Diego has less chance than Florian had IMO.

Sherk should not have tried to box with Penn...that was his mistake....Are you sure he took Stevenson far into the bout...? and as for Florian...you know I watched Penn do something i've never seen him do before in that match...during the first few rounds he was actively pacing himself, and holding back...and in the later rounds he switched to the ground, not because he gassed, but because he got bored of playing around with Florian...now...Florian was unable to really push him...I'd like to see him pace AND be pushed in the first three rounds to see if he then is forced to change to the ground due to gassing...or if it remains still a matter of choice.

if its choice...then one cant say that he hasnt been actively trying on cardio. if he still gasses, one says that he will only gas IF his opponent is able to push him beyond his pace...again, that in itself we havent seen much in 155lbs...and certainly not recently...though we've seen it ALOT at welterweight...thats just a sign of age catching up with Penn.
