How did the surgery go, Shawn. I noticed in the drawing that his eyes seem to be corrected.

Yes, his eyes are corrected now! I'm sorry I forgot to post after the surgery!! It was postponed on Dec. 31 because his eyes were all crust & runny. He had the surgery last Wednesday, Jan. 20. He is doing great! Thank you guys for all your prayers!

Oh that is great news, Shawn; I know y'all are relieved to have that done. I remember when I was in 4th grade, I got to be library girl for a week and I was checking this kid's books out and he called me "cross-eyed" and I was like, "Nuh uh! I just had them fixed!"

Brat! I should have date-stamped his forehead and told him that that was when his momma was gonna RETURN him for a nicer kid.

Thought I'd post another update of Benaiah. He's doing great! The weather has been awesome, so he got to go outside and play.
This was his first time in the sandbox:
