I listen to everything , theres even some rap in there that i left out lol . I just have a tendancy to post country music on here. cause i figure everyone has already heard all the other songs id post like the ones above , but very few of you have ever heard foggy mountain breakdown by flatt and scruggs , or tom t hall for that instance lol . SO i try to post things i think you might not have heard , But dont think thats all i listen to
I like one of those songs.

one.

note: You worry about Kenny wearing a sea shell necklace yet think screaming at the top of your lungs should be categorized as singing? lol. Alrighty then.

Hey, Mac, George Jones was born not far from my hometown of Beaumont. Some younger guys from and around Beaumont are Mark Chestnut, Tracy Byrd, and Clay Walker.

Love "Who's Gonna Fill Their Shoes"! Great song!

Rhythm & Blues, good stuff.

I googled her; you know she lived in Houston for a while. She was only 57 when she died.

I bought the album on iTunes last night What brought her to my attention was the movie Hound Dog. I had never heard of her before that.

I got some pretty cool news this morning, and I thought I would share it in this thread...

The recording group/band I started in 2005 launched a brand new website on Monday. In the last 3 days, since the launch of the new site, our rankings on the global charts for "Rock" music on Reverbnation.com has gone up over 8,500 slots.

When broken down, we have gone up over 50 slots in the Phoenix charts in just over 48 hours. Since I last checked, we were sitting at 107 in the Phoenix rankings, but our rate of growth right now is about 10 times that of the average group in the top 100, and that's only 3 days since our new site went live and still at least 3 months before our next cd is going to be finished.

I know the music ain't going to be everybody's thing, but I figured I would share the website anyway since I put as many hours into it as our web-guy has, lol...

Link is in my sig...

Yeah, it's pretty cool.

We are actually up to 79 as of this morning (they update every day). We could be up in top 20 in the next couple weeks, if not sooner!

We are getting a ton more fans and friend requests since launching the new site, so I am pleased to say the least.
