Doesn't "running for the cops and nearly killing people" count as part of the "recent tirades?" Guess it just depends how you define "recent". In a span of a few months, which is a small percentage of a lifetime, that's "recent" IMO

Yeah, but the "rampage" incident was almost a year and a half ago, not really "recent", but not that long ago either...

I agree though, I have not been a big Rampage fan for a while.

LOL, I had to think about that too, "Was it really that long ago? I work too much!"

The reason I made that post about Quinton was that when he.. LOST the title.. (I still have it recorded, and those kicks from Forrest were rocking.. even Quinton said "he kicked my @ss)...

He goes mental... and does stuff that would have most people rotting in jail for a while... Dana/UFC stands up for the guy.. Dana personally posts his bail.. and bail money you DON'T get back... and says publicly... "Dude.. it's a one time thing... something is up.. cut him some slack"...

Then Quinton wants to fight Machida.. but signs up for TUF.. then doesn't want to fight Rashad to be able to do a movie.. even though he has already agreed to fight Rashad.. and almost from the beginning.. coaches fight after TUF.. but he doesn't want to...

Quinton may have a great reason for wanting to do the A-Team movie.. I even like the idea of why he is doing it. But when your a man, a father, a public figure... some times you have to think of others and put yourself aside...

Besides.. the big shot movie producer should have been able to work around his training to get him into the movie.. at the VERY least the publicity would have been great for what is SURE to be a dog of a movie.

I'm alittle torn on this one.

I mean Rampage got really embaressed on TUF heavyweights.

Everything is easy when your winning. I know from poker.

I'm starting to think that the whole A team movie wasn't that big of a deal
to Rampage, that he just wanted to get away from fighting for awhile.
I don't blame him, it was the smart move. He would probably lose to Rashad
if they fought as scheduled. Not that Rashad is better, but i'll take the guy
who is on cloud 9 & is 8-0 or 8-1, as opposed to the guy who got slaughtered & probably feels like crap.

I realize it was just coaching, but as you can see from the smashed door on the show, it can still effect you mentally. Then after getting embaressed like
that, Dana slams him for the A-team movie. Which probably was like getting kicked when already down.

On top of all that, Rampage is a guy who appears to have some mental issues as is. I feel like Rampage could be the best 205'er in the world one day, and maybe as low as 15 the next depending on his state of mind.

but really were all just outsiders on this one. Nobody really knows all the facts about the dealings between the UFC & rampage.
