If Rampage Jackson never fights again, I will not miss him. This act has grown old already.
Agreed. I'd still like to see him face Rashad tho...and who knows maybe he's trying to generate as much controversy as he can in order to gain publicity, thereby making his contract negotiations go his way.

Former UFC light heavyweight champion Quinton "Rampage" Jackson, who was arrested Tuesday in Costa Mesa, Calif., after a series of collisions involving his pickup truck, posted his $25,000 overnight bail and has been released.

Jackson was booked into Orange County Jail for felony evading, hit-and-run and reckless driving, According to Lt. Paul Dondero.

Rampage, who relinquished his UFC belt on July 5 by unanimous decision to Forrest Griffin, plowed his 2008 Ford F-250, complete with his image emblazoned on rear driver- and passenger-side doors, into multiple cars along Highway 55.

THE SAME DAY....

UFC president Dana White flew to Orange County upon learning of the arrest and said he was driving to the county jail to post bail for Jackson.

The UFC Steps up and says....

July18th..

White said Jackson is still in a hospital undergoing a psychological examination.

“He’s alright,” White said. “When the thing happened it made no sense to me at all.”

Then: “I don’t know what he’s going through right now. He’s a friend of mine. He’s a good guy.”

I'm done fighting..

The UFC has done a lot for me but I think I have done more for them. The UFC bought WFA to get my contract & they saved my life, so I felt loyal to them.

"but they blow wanting me to fight all these people... blah blah blah.."

I still feel the UFC is a great organization and I felt like I was very loyal to them but they didn't respect my loyalty but I wish the UFC the best. I did a lot of things for them. I wish no bad blood between us but I have kids & a family back in Memphis to provide for & thats all that matters to me!

And Quinton is ashamed???
Great points. Ironic, isn't it?

Rampage does make a good point. Danas excuse is always never let it go to the judges. Fights that I think could be rigged. One is Belcher vs sexiyama. Yama is a fighter that the UFC could sell more tickets with so they decided to give him the win. Tell me I'm wrong. Look at Bisping vs Hamill. Same thing there. Bisping is the pride of the U.K and more money is placed on him through advertising. Hamil beat him for 3 rounds and should have won. Hamill lost and he was robbed. Same thing with Kimbo and Thompson. Thompson should have won that fight. I love this sport and I watch every UFC ppv. I have it figured into my monthly bills. Heck I love this sport so much that when my business started sinking last year I stopped eating expensive foods and starting eating bologna sandwiches just to have the money to order the fights. I just don't think people should get an immediate title shot because they are more popular. Lesner is a tough S.O.B but didn't deserve the title shot so fast. Same with Vitor. Just like Vitor said. Marquart deserves the shot. I think fighters should be ranked and the number one contender deserves the shot. No matter how much of a money maker he is.
Now what was so bad about what Rampage said except for the fact about the Judges. Matt Hughes was made to look like a jerk on the show and it was because the editing. (Thats what people say any how). I never seen him act like a jerk. I also think if anyone deserves another title shot in the UFC it's Matt. So in a way the UFC is fixed. maybe not so much to the cheating stand point but it's fixed as to who gets a title shot over a deserving competitor.

Rampage is only speaking what people are scared to say. I will say this now and again. Something is not right with the UFC.

Fight Metric has both Akiyama and Bisping winning according to them.

His recent tirades have definitely convinced me to refuse to watch the movie. Too bad, I was interested, but I definitely don't have any interest in helping line this asshole's pockets.

So, it's okay to run from the cops and nearly kill people, but not to call out the UFC?
