If thats the case then I would much rather be broke. Take double taxes from me to increase the death penalty.

Another way to avoid the costs is to kill them sooner.

That article is clearly slanted to be anti-death penalty. The problem is not the death penalty, the problem is sentencing criminals to death and not actually carrying out that sentence.

Every time this debate comes up, some silly libtard tries to make that very point. I always remind them that the cost of two bullets in the back of someones skull is actually quite cheap.
Heck, even Iraq can get that one right. When they sentenced Saddam to die they did not even wait for his other trials to finish, they just hung him. |

They need to reform the system to immediate death sentence.

I have to agree with that one.Maybe in rare cases an appeal first but not years later either.

Thats what we used to do. What do you think my Screen Name means
If you dont know, look in the siggie...will save you lots of "ramble" from me LOL 600 years of almost immediate execution, supplied by New Gate Prison, which incidently backs onto Saint Paul's Cathedral, and Marble Arch...thats where Tyburn used to be, the River still flows underground...ironically the Public Executions that were entertainment for Londoners...well theres an Odeon Cinema right on the site even now...thats dramatic ironey hahaha You'd do well to do what we did with the bodies after execution also...Public Dissection Last week, the guy who was responsible for getting rid of the death penalty in England as a major lobbiest...died.

I put Richard Dieter in the Yahoo search engine and found out pretty quick that he's an anti death penalty activist! By the way it ain't killing that cost so much. Its most likely the 20 years housing them and paying for their lawyers that racks the bill up!
