I can't stand Brock Lesnar but if this is true I am more impressed that he is attending BJJ seminars.

I think the news is completely bogus. Think about it....Lesnar and GG are going to get into an all out JJ match outside of the octagon.....talk about a load of cow dung......the only way I would believe this is if there were pics or even vid to back it up.

While I doubt Brock being a high level JJ ace yet I seem to remember reading that he has been training in BJJ. From what I have read it seems like Brock has the ability to learn fast and works very hard on improving his MMA! It seems like when you find a gifted Athlete who's also got an extreme work ethic and desire to learn his craft they go pretty far in their field! If size and power were all it took you Tim Silvia would have beat Randy!

I can't find any "real" source for this.
But in reality it wouldn't be too huge a suprise. Brock starting training Private lessons 7 days a week with Royce Gracie in 2006, a year before his first fight. Since then he has hired Rodrigo Comprido has his private instructor. http://www.compridobjj.com/ GG has been doing BJJ for 14 years, but going to classes 3x a week, or even 5x a week doesn't really beat hiring world class guys to tutor you privately. Add to that Brock's already impressive wrestling..... |
