Nintendo Wii is bringing back the old classic style of Mario Brothers that we all enjoyed on the first Nintendo. As of now, no release date has been set, but check out the video!

Release date is fourth quarter of 2009 but no actual date for North America.
The trailer looks pretty cool |

That's awesome, now we just need a top-down, 2D update of Legend of Zelda and I'll be a happy man.

I don't know if anyone remembers a game for Super Nintendo called F-Zero....but I wouldn't mind seeing that game come back...I really enjoyed that one

Most of my favorite Zelda games are the 2D versions. I think Wind Waker has been the only 3D version of Zelda that was able to pull off the 3D environment with minimal camera problems.

Agreed. As much as I love playing Twilight Princess (I just went through the game again, completed all possible side quests & still took 20+ hrs off my previous time!), the camera angles definitely get a little annoying at times.

My personal favorite was actually Zelda II. I love the side-scrolling aspect, plus the jumping, ducking, etc.
