Shane Carwin talks Brock Lesnar

It's a very interesting matchup. Brock's faster, bigger, and stronger, but I'd say on the feet, Carwin is a much better striker and he has even larger fists than Brock.

However, Brock will have no problem putting Carwin on the ground, Gonzaga proved this. The difference is, Brock would be able to keep Carwin on the ground unlike Gonzaga, where their respective levels of grappling aren't even close.

The way I see it, if Mir struggled with his BJJ and couldn't even make a submission attempt, Carwin's f'ed if he can't manage an escape and get back to his feet. If Carwin doesn't get the KO, he will end up on his back.

I'm pumped to see this fight. I don't think it'll last very long, but it'll definitely be explosive!

I'm looking forward to seeing this fight and hopefully Carwin can give Brock a run for his money. But with Brock's shear force and strength, it's hard to see anyone beating him at the moment. Brock is a freakin animal.

Go check some of Carwin's training videos on YouTube. I remember seeing where he had like 4 plates on each side and was doing power cleans with it. That dude is VERY strong just like Brock. I think he's very close to matching Brock in power, but he doesn't have the same wrestling pedigree or speed. But, that dude hits HARD!

......and I think Carwin is stronger mentally(has a bigger heart) than Brock....which is huge in MMA.

Brock went 106-5 in NCAA Division I wrestling, was a 2-time Big-10 Champion, runner-up for national champ in 1999, and the 2000 national champ. If you think he has any mental weakness, you're nuts!

That was adrenaline, and unfortunately, his WWE showmanship. He was a heel in the WWE for several years. That doesn't excuse what he did, but you've got to realize, that's who he was for several years. He'll get it right.

i dont even think it was adrenaline or WWE, he gives what he gets and stepping in the ring doesnt wipe the slate clean afterwards with him, he holds grudges or sees it as the best time to talk crap back is after you just whooped someone

if carwin stays the respectful competitor he is now, you watch and see as you get the respectful lesnar after lesnar wins, the same lesnar you had after randy and the lesnar after mir 1

i happen to like him more that he doesnt forget months and months of crap talking in 1-15 minutes of fight time, regardless if its for hype or not, plenty of fighters dont hype there matches trying to create grudges
