Matt Signs a Multi-Fight Deal

I just heard that Matt had signed a multi fight extension and came to the site expecting to see a ton of forum posts about it. So what does everyone think? Its official he IS fighting again.

Well, Matt posted the information in his blog first. If you'll notice all of the MMA news sites are referencing Matt's blog (I know this because I've been approving link back requests from them).

Unfortunatelly I can't see it live from Argentina :( And have to see it later :P

They mentioned the possibility of another fight with Serra and eluded to another fighter, yet to be announced, that Matt has never fought. Any guesses?

Great news for Matt and us for sure. There is nothing I would like more than for Matt to tear through these next fights, get his belt back, AND have a successful hunting show. Now that would be cool.

I would like to see a Matt Hughes/Ted Nugent hunting trip. Two of my alltime favorites, hunting down Whitetail or Mulies. Then have the Nuge play his version of A Country Boy Can Survive? ;)

If it happens, hopefully we could get it on AFN over here.

I have no idea whether its true or not, but i just read an article that said Matt and AS were going to fight for the belt at 185. Matt signed the deal and AS didn't.
