Sorry for not getting back to you on this one.
Depends. My daughter (5) liked it and was into it the whole movie .. she has lost interest in other movies in the past, so i was worried about this one. I do have another HM movie at home, Spirited Away and she really like that ... it is not typical animation or movie you would expect from a North American standpoint, but there were a lot of kids in the theatre that were laughing and enjoying it throughout. I liked the movie, still not as good as SA, but man, that is one of my favourite movies ever, so kinda hard to top ... maybe try renting another anime film and see how that goes over first
