Yeah, maybe, but I still don't think you can really compare the two:
- Fighting P4P king of MMA
- Already dropped twice by power punches
- Running full out into the oncoming punch
- Fighting a washed out TUFer
- 100% freshsince the fight had just started
- Leaning forward after getting stopped by a push kick
There's a huge difference between run into a punch as opposed to being slowed/stopped by a kick & leaning in for the clinch. You really cannot try comparing the two unless you're a Forrest hater (which I don't think you are) or a Kimbo nut-hugger (which I also don't think you are). Also, Anderson wound up a lot more than people think. If you watch the profile camera angle (as opposed to the over-Anderson's-shoulder angle we had when it happened live), you can clearly see that he brings his arm up & back before throwing the punch. Seth, on the other hand, didn't have the option of winding up because he was backed up against the fence.
