he's the only #1 ranked fighter not in the UFC. so his pond is bigger than the UFC.

I don't think the UFC has a bunch of guys who pose serious threats to Fedor,
but in fairness I don't think any HW poses serious threats to Fedor.
this delivers!

Sylvia and AA haven't looked good since Fedor finished them because he took their souls and made them gun shy. they were #6 and #3 at HW in the world when they faced Fedor. Barnett was #2, so Fedor has been facing top guys.
and thankfully this m-1 crap didnt exist when he fought in pride so he was able to get the fights that he got!

Is he? Or is Vadim?

I am still very confused by the M - 1 thing.
Could wiki be correct?

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/M-1_Global

M-1 Global is the mixed martial arts promotion based in Holland which organizes between 40 and 50 competitions per year. It will be hosting its first major show (rather than co-promoting with other organizations) entitled M-1 Global Presents Breakthrough on August 28, 2009 in Los Angeles.

Not recently....

His myth/legend is quickly catching up to his skill. He will be hounded by unanswered questions until he's in the UFC. That's just the way it is Andreas.

not recently? his last three opponents were #6, #3 and would have been #2 had Barnett not failed his drug test. that's recent to me.

that makes it even worse. i doubt they could have made pride give in to co promotion demands if it had existed then. other fight companies have nothing to gain by co promoting with them except one fighter and its absurd that any company would go through that just for that one fighter. if it wasnt for that fedor and the ufc probably wouldve came to a compromise.

i also dont agree with some people saying that competition outside the ufc is better than in the ufc. would anyone really rather watch fedor fight jeff monson, overeem, and brett rogers over brock, shane, cain, mir, kongo and cro cop?
