ATO has learned this morning through a source close to the UFC that the rematch between Rich Franklin and Dan Henderson may be scrapped from UFC 103 for a better main event. The fight is no longer listed on UFC.com.

Dan Henderson won a split decision over “Ace” in Dublin, Ireland at UFC 93. The win propelled Hendo onto The Ultimate Fighter and he made the most of his opportunity by knocking out Michael Bisping at UFC 100.

Franklin rebounded from the loss by defeating Wanderlei Silva at UFC 99 in Cologne, Germany via unanimous decision.

Both men have expressed an interest in fighting for a belt. Franklin wants a shot at Lyoto Machida, the first man to defeat him and Henderson has stated he wants to rematch Anderson Silva.

We also met, at Cage Gladiators last year. Kongo is so funny. He's not at all creepy.

GOOD. The first fight was a total bore..plus I hate it when they pit good guy against good guy like that. Let Franklin fight Tito - he's a villian after all Dan got his villian in Bisping. Them are the kinda fight people wanna see!

I think Dan should get Anderson next!
If Franklin loses to Machida, he's done for, and I would hate to see it, yet hate not to see them fight!

I'm glad this fight is off.

Dan won and now both go on to other business.

Hendo has what it takes to beat Anderson, i truly believe that, just needs to watch cardio. Plus he deserves another shot.

And Frankilin needs to win a few more at 205 to make a run. His a great fighter but i think the 205 division is a little beyond him.

Franklin could make it in the top 3 but I doubt any one is beating lyoto any time soon.
