The Royals have been known to refer to themselves as a collective when they mean sigularly them. They also use the term "one" when speaking about themselves or others

They might for example say "one is off to the shops" when they really mean "I am off to the shops" do you follow...its about as close as you can come to talking about yourself in the Third person, without being in the third person.
