Hendo/Franklin 2 to headline UFC 103

not really interested in this fight ... don't see why they don't give him a shot at silva ... i means, he fights, he beats franklin, then goes down to 185 and fights silva? he loses and what? ... if franklin wins then what ? a shot at ryoto?

Yeah, I think this is more of a sleight against Dan than it is Rich. No offense to Rich bc I love the guy, but Hendo is a legit contender and poses a serious threat to the Spider. Maybe he just wants a fight and would rather do this one instead of waiting for Spider to recoup after the Forrest fight.

Didn't Silva decide to move up to 205 for UFC 101? He supposed to fight Griffin in three weeks.

Looks like Siva can't be escaped by moving to 205.

That's right, Dave, it would be good for Rich, but I cannot see what's in it for Henderson, unless he wins in a dominant fashion and "shuts up" people who were not satisfied with the first fight. If loses or does not win dominantly, which he was unable to do before, then is is lose/lose for him, imo. I'm not really sure why he was so quick to take this fight.

Henderson nearly won last time...he just made a mistake that was all.

Are we looking at this the wrong way...are they trying to avoid anyone fighting Silva because they dont trust him to fight properly now? surely they cant be trying to Save Silva...he evidently doesnt need help there...But He's not been fighting to the best of his ability recently

Lol, perhaps you are right about the conscience! I suppose a split decision would be a little hard for a very competitive fighter to take as well. I would want there to be no question about my victory!

Man that is pretty lame. I wish Tuf would just go away as it's really messing things up lately.
