Cro Cop hasn't signed with Dream, wants to stay in UFC

According to people who translated this article, he says he hasn't signed with DREAM, is worried Dana would believe those rumors and says he wants to continue with the UFC but wants to fight more than twice a year.

eh who knows what to believe. well have to wait and see i guess. and cro cop would not be able to fight more than twice a year so that sucks for him i guess.

I hope this is the truth. It seemed uncharacteristic for Mirko to take advantage of Dana in this way. Fans don't react well to those tactics. I thought the eye poke obviously affected WHEN the KO would come but it was inevitable. Glad Al-Turk didn't get hit with those last couple HUGE punches CC threw.

Dana didn't believe in him so he did a verbal deal. had CC lost Dana wouldn't keep him. CC lived up to his deal by fighting the 1 fight verbal deal. if Dana don't like it, do official deals next time.....and for more than 1 fight too.

I won't say he looked awesome last night he looked okay. Didn't realize until he mentioned it he's only 5 months removed from knee surgery,so maybe thats the reason to me he looked flat footed. Also,maybe the main reason we say now leg kicks,except the one attempt.
I kindof knew this stuff was BS as there was no real source behind it except what Yahoo!Sports was reporting. Sorry to say Yahoo! isn't the best source of anything imo.
I agree I don't think Dana will let him fight 3x a year,but he may as hes a big name. The only downfalls to me in fighting that often is little training time and your gonna wear urself out physically/mentally and him being older now makes it harder.

Where did it say that Cro Cop was finished with the UFC and had signed with DREAM? In his post fight interview he talked about staying in the UFC and made no mention of leaving...

No shocker, White told Yahoo! Sports Kevin Iole he was not happy:

"Isn’t that a dirty (expletive) thing to do?” White asked rhetorically after being queried about Filipovic’s deal with DREAM. “He (expletived) me. The first time in the history of the company I do one over the phone. He promised me a three-fight deal and he (expletived) me.”

unless Kevin Iole is a fictional person I guess its true or get ready for a libel suit.
