Hm. Last I looked, GSP's striking WAS his bread and butter. He only started to do this whole wrestling thing in 2007, but he was a striker way long before that.
To be honest, I'd almost rather see him try to stand with Thiago, as that would make the fight even more incredible and I'm sure Alves could make GSP look human for a few moments. It'd be a greater fight to watch that way. Though GSP will take him down, and that will be that. |

people seem to miss that shot for shot GSP has landed more strikes than anyone. ufc.com confirmed that recently. alves is good, but gsp takes this everytime
