Trigg has looked good his last couple of fights. I get this because of that and because Hughes wants to keep fighting. This makes sense to me. Given how well the UFC was able to sell the Serra fight as a rivalry match, I think building a Hughes/Trigg 3 is pretty much a sure thing, it will be huge.

Dusting off those Hughes/Trigg Highlights from their first two fights will build a huge Hughes/Trigg 3 event and IMO, there are a lot of people that havent seen their second fight. To me, Matts come-back in that second fight goes down as one of the greatest fights in MMA history. I still get chills when I watch that fight and all it will take is for Spike to air that fight and Matt will gain a couple hundred thousand fans.

Actually Trigg vs kos or Trigg vs Fitch would be a lot of fun! I'm sure Matt would take the opportunity to choke him out any day of the week, but I doubt it'd be a fight that would really motivate him unless Trigg started talking smack.

You don't need to be able to beat the top 5 in the division to get signed.
