well, he didn't actually lose .... from what i can remember, under the rules at that time, if royce didn't come to the cage and throw in the towel, he wouldn't have collected some sort of payment ... so he could have not shown up and it would have been a DQ or NC, but he showed up and threw in the towel to collect his pay ... and even when they announced royce at the matt fight, i think they announced him as undefeated or something like that ... anyone else have more info?
