this is my point. Either Spoilers matter, or they dont.

I dont care whether we put a warning or not...but we should surely do either ONE or THE OTHER...not say spoiler for the live thread...and then no spoiler for the individual fights

...I kinda side with Nathan on this...I recongise that Amy is right, its been done coz people really are stupid enough to read a thread about a fight they dont plan on seeing til later...but I think...that they shouldnt be looking in those threads unless they want to know in the first place

Well Dave, I am completely 100% for not posting a warning about spoilers. Then I can just laugh at the whiners.

I think that separate threads for separate fights is a great idea. But good luck on sticking to one fight and who's going to post all the threads?

I don't think we need spoiler warnings at all, but maybe we should just keep the thread titles generic for the first 12 hours. For instance, a thread would be titled "UFC 98: Rampage vs. Machida" not "OMG!!! Is Rampage dead??!??!"

There would be no spoiler "grace period" for Matt's fights though. The instant the results of one of his fights is known, then you can post whatever you want in thread titles. For those who can't watch Matt's fights live and plan to watch a rebroadcast later on, then they should just stay off Matt's site until then.
