Default Sherk left the Arena while still wearing his shorts and gloves.

Sean Sherk has left the building, NSAC is looking for him
By Steve Cofield

Sources within the MGM Grand Garden Arena say that Sean Sherk has left the building. No, he's not bailing on the postfight press conference. The former UFC lightweight champ left the arena with his gloves, shorts and fight gear. No big deal, right? Wrong.
It is a big deal. Sherk needed to be present to potentially take a postfight urine test following his loss to Frank Edgar. Nevada State Athletic Commission director Keith Kizer said Sherk was seen in the last 20 minutes ago in the area of the Hard Rock Hotel Casino. The Hard Rock is located roughly 1/2 mile to the east of the MGM Grand.
UPDATE: After a 15 minute absence, "The Muscle Shark" returned to the MGM. Kizer said had he not returned to possibily take a postfight urine test, he faced suspension. He did not have to submit a urine sample, he was not on the prefight list fighters.

Does anyone think this is strange behavior from a guy who has tested pos for roids once before.

Not an uncommon occurance... I've seen it happen PLENTY of times. Its just now, the sport is under such a huge microscope. Sherks a great guy, and he was disappointed.

What is strange is that they did not test him, but after his loss I could imagine he just wanted to leave.

he didn't know if he was on the list, so he left to get his fake pee pee sample.

Lyoto probably broke in his locker room and drank the first one he had.

That's what I was thinking. I mean, after UFC 79, stormed out of my apartment building until I could calm down enough to not break something. Sherk thought he was going to have that fight in the bag & instead he got handled. Could not have been an easy dissapointment to deal with.

I understand being pissed but as someone who has tested pos before he cant just disappear for 15 min. He may not have even been thinking about that but someone from his team needs to look out for him and make sure he does not do anything that could cause him to get suspended.
