I saw Bear Grylls do it on Man vs. Wild a few times. He said the bacteria obviously isn't the greatest, but it could save your life if you really need fluids. Maybe Lyoto just doesn't have access to clean water

urine is sterile....unless the tip is dirty or you have a bladder infection. i'm sure Machida cleans before opening the tap.

everybody laughs now but he will start the urine therapy trend in MMA just like he is about to start the karate trend in MMA. in a couple years it will be normal to hear about fighters drinking urine and everyone will understand it and be cool with it
