There is an ad running on local sports radio for a bar near Chicago that shows the fights, and the guy doing the ad announces it as the "Hughes vs Sierra" fight.

I have an awesome Matt Hughes story for yall....

My brother has been watching all of Matt's previous MMA bouts. He's been borrowing the DVDs, and then txts me about Frank Trigg, TUF 2 and 6, Penn, etc. He is really getting into it, to my delight. I think once he actually gave Matt Hughes a chance, he was captivated by his down to earth personality and his faith (two things my brother is working on).

Yesterday I was writing up for my MMA blog, when my bro texts me "Hey, did you know that Matt Hughes is fighting on the 23rd?"

I immediately called back and asked, "Why do you think I'm flying to Vegas next weekend?"

He replied, "Ohhh, now it makes sense."



My brother just solidified how much young guys like himself listen

Anyway, should be a great time. I'm strangely calm about it though.
