Quite a few people did actually. He signed at least one autograph while they were waiting for the carousel. A few times, we'd hear someone yelling his name out from a distance. Matt would just wave in the general direction and we'd keep moving on.

Everyone was completely respectful though. They understood that Matt was there to be with his family first and foremost and didn't hound him too much.

The ROCK just moved to the Charlottesville area after buying a plantation in a nearby town. It's just a farm with a bunch of acreage. He works out at a local gym and he's spotted everywhere. People are usually really respectful around here though. I realize these guys are people too, but they have to live a lot of life in the spotlight.

Once back when I worked at the SPCA, this lady came up to me while I was recovering some animals after their surgeries. She said, "Hi, I'm Sissy." It was Sissy Spacek, and she is one of the board members of my old workplace. Pretty cool. I've seen her around the mall too.

I think I've also run into John Grisham at the bookstore, no joke! He actually likes science fiction and comedy books.

Anyway, to echo goat, I'm happy they had a great time at the zoo. Nate you took some cool pics

Great pics nate! You should sell some of them to the Zoo. I doubt they've captured the animals that well.
Looks like Matt was all smiles with the family. Hanna definitely steals the spotlight when she's in the pics. LOL!
If this was just after feeding time the Tiger was probably digesting his meal. The morning is a great time to visit right after they open because the animals are usually pretty active. The bear pic is one of my favorites, but they're all good.
what, no Llamas?

I notice that the Sting Rays were never within reach of Matt. They recognize a superior predator when they see one!
