I want Carwin to win it!

Though I'm very weary of what Gonzaga can bring...I was in the audience when he was fighting CroCop

you realy dont know much about him, great wrestler with a PB in BJJ and is learning boxing at a rapid pace. if he had the hype lesnar had comeing into the ufc he would be champ right now but he doesnt and will have to work his way up. please dont throw random unthought out posts

You're absolutely right that he is a great wrestler and a PB in BJJ. But he has also not fought anyone the caliber of Gonzaga. He also has not gone longer than a little over 2:00 in a fight, so we have seen nothing about is conditioning. I wish the best for him and I think this fight will answer a lot of questions about how good Carwin is.

Iam just saying that he has the same potential (or more) than lesnar when he came to the ufc green and untested

Agreed. And Lesnar had to answer the same questions...I'm hoping Carwin can do the same.

Just did a little more research on Carwin's record. In 10 fights, he's only fought a total of 11 minutes and 13 seconds, or an average of 1 minute 7.3 seconds per fight. Although he hasn't really been tested by an upper echelon fighter, it's quite impressive!

Rumor has it the winner of this fight will be the #1 contender for the title. I'd say winner fights Kongo, then that winner is the #1 contender (who will get their ass kicked by Brock ).

Shane has good hands and good wrestling. We'll see if he has a good chin.

I'm honestly undecided, but I'll go with Gonzaga on this one for a sig bet.
