Default The past vs. the present

What fighters from the past would you like to see in the ring/cage against an active fighter

Acouple off the top of my head, i'll think of some good ones though

Igor Vovchanchyn (hw version) vs Shane Carwin

99/00 Kazushi Sakuraba vs. Frank shamrock (although Sakuraba isn't really retired, he's a shell of himself)

You know the sport really isn't old enough to do the classic vs current yet.. Most of the classic greats are still fighting in some degree.

sure it is, plenty of fighters have retired or are years out of their prime. bas rutten, sakuraba, coleman, maurice smith, mezger, frye, Rizzo, igor vovchanchyn, rickson (shooto and pride), even Royce's boney butt. Maybe your right, but i'm always thinking of these things

Bas Rutten vs Wanderlei by the way, i always wanted Bas to come out of retirement and fight Wand

I'd like to see Bas fight Rickson Gracie.
