They both suck and are quite expensive. Make your own MRP's.

Simple recipe:

1. Coffee grinder
2. Grind dry oats (carbs & fiber)
3. Grind your favorite nuts (fats & fiber)
4. 1-2 scoops of whey (protein)
5. Fill 2-4 in a shaker cup
6. Add water

Much cheaper and much healthier than those Cytosport products.

EDIT - ok, well they don't "suck", but there certainly are plenty of other less expensive and healthier alternatives to Muscle Mik and Monster Milk.

I'm curious too. I always say save your money, purchase the active ingredient, L-Arginine (or AAKG) separately. The rest of that stuff is just unnecessary fillers that jack up the price.

Actually the thing is to take casein before bed not regular protein because its a slower protein and will last the whole nite avoiding your body from going in and using muscle for energy.

People cycle off for various reasons, taste, somethig better came along. There really is no need to cycle off the protein because it doesnth have diminosinshing effects like take testie boosters do.

I rarely take m.m unless im out of protein or I am bouncing from working out to somewhere and cant mix anything up. Otherwise I take ON right now, its very good quality for the price, Got some new stuff waiting for me called synergy I believe, Id have to get home and check the bottle out.

M.M is pretty high in fat, like 10g a scoop add a second scoop and then throw in milk and its freaky high. -
Yeah, it's rather ridiculous. 13g of carbs per serving of Muscle Milk is hardly fueling glycogen in the muscle for any workout. If you want a steady stream of glycogen replenishment throughout your workout, you're better off using a slow-digesting carb such as whole wheat pasta or dry oats.

it's an overhyped and expensive supplement, basically caffine and nitric oxide (for blood flow) theres much better and cheaper options. I've heard about people getting insane headaches, dizziness, passing out, stomach aches. Everyone i know who has tried it, have disliked it, I tried it once and in the middle of sparring i started seeing these crazy red dots everywhere. It had my heart racing like a lab rat
