Finishing Bonus or maybe removal of win bonuses by decision?

I agree with a yellow card system but not giving out a win bonus for a fight that goes to a dec is just stupid. Often times the Fight of the Night is a fight that went to a dec and some of the best fights ever in MMA have gone to a dec.

i thought you were talking about the UFC?

I've seen Lot of "questionable" yellow cards on Pride. A card system in the UFC wouldn't be able to involve taking deductions from a fighters purse. I always thought that was a pretty shady.

I don't agree with this.

These guys are athletes not entertainers. Yes they get paid because people watch them and that is fine. If you can't sell a fighter pull his contract you don't dock his pay even though he was just doing his job..

This would again be a huge advantage for strikers and wrestlers and would hurt BJJ guys. Having fights stand up when not busy on the ground is more then an advantage for the strikers they don't need more by guys being afraid to go to the ground for fear of losing money.

I have never heard of getting a yellow card for going to the ground. I thought Pride people loved the ground game.

I thought the yellow card was for not doing anything once you got there.
