I know it's also not the same as being "crushed", "destroyed", etc. but those words don't carry the same emotional value as "raped".
I see what your saying

No.

Rape is a violation of assult....it might strip dignity and stuff from the victim, but thats not all that the UFC took from Pride.

The UFC killed Pride, and then they asset Stripped, that is to say after they'd Killed her, they took all her crown jewels and threw the rest away.

To use your analogy, The UFC have Violated some organizations, and Asset Stripped others. Look at what they did to Pride. That was like a Knock Out. It took everything, but it didnt really violate anything. Its like Murder, the victim couldnt help being subdued.

Now a Submission is far more like a violation, because the Victim is in control of their own defeat. They say when they quit. Look at how the UFC deals with its competition that it doesnt kill and claim. It tries to financially, legally, and psychologically crush an organisation, until the Organization crumbles in on itself., perhaps it runs out of money, perhaps it cant compete, whatever.

actually I think its more that your casual usage of something that is very serious and very very painful for a large number of people that should have never had to face the situation has actually offend people here.

Your ignorance of the subject is not considered figurative, its down right insulting.

Thats the issue here I think, at least from my point of view

I understood your point.

But we dont do crude and offensive here.

I just showed you how you can make the same point without being crude.

Use the word "Violated" rather then "raped" and all your problems with dissapear.
