I just seen that Bobby Lashley has made a return of some sorts to wrestling. He appeared at a TNA wrestling show.
I don't really think this was too smart of a move to help out his MMA career. In defense I guess he hasn't signed any contract so he can still compete in MMA. It may just be a favor to Kurt Angle to help out that promotion with a few special appearances. Whats everyone else think? Here's a link to some of the story. http://www.5thround.com/04232009/new...pro-wrestling/

I didn't know Lashley is fighting Bob Sapp, that actually might be interesting to watch.
It don't really bother me if he gets back into pro-wrestling, but it does make me wonder how serious he really is about pursuing MMA at the highest level. Pro-Wrestling can be pretty physically demanding with a high potential for injury, and I'm not sure that many MMA promoters would be thrilled if he was actively performing in TNA in the weeks leading up to a big fight. Then again, we don't really know anything about what role, if any, he is actually going to have at this point. While we are on the subject, TNA kinda sucks in my opinion. |

TNA has done it in the past, they either bring in a big time name just to hype the show or they drop a name over and over.
For ages TNA talked about Jericho coming to TNA but he said numerously h ewasnt interested in wrestling and if he was it was only for WWE. |

He could be running low on cash... He hasn't made much money fighting and without a decent contract he may not be grabbing sponsors.

I don't know that he would need the money unless he spent what he made in the WWE which I imagine was a good bit. Although he could probably make a good bit by just making appearances and not even have to wrestle and their schedule in TNA is very light so he wouldn't be traveling alot for a bunch of shows. I still believe Kurt Angle has a lot to do with him going there. Maybe there is hopes of him and Kurt having a MMA match down the line. I think it would be a pretty good draw.
I do have the same question as JB about his seriousness in pursuing a MMA career. I think he is, just hope this doesn't take away from his training and focus. Sapp should be a good test for him with their styles.
